Ariel at the piano in Vicenza

CDs

I am a young pianist and musician living in Jerusalem, Israel. Welcome to my site and enjoy the music. I would be very happy if you sent me e-mail or came to one of my concerts (especially if you're a young pianist or musician yourself).
I have many interests. My main instrument is the piano, but I also study the violin and explore the guitar, drums, and double bass on my own.
I play many pieces from the classical piano repertoire, from Frescobaldi to Ligeti and from Haydn to Hajdu. In jazz, I am interested in just about everything, from bebop and Latin to avant-garde.
I played many classical concerts as a solo pianist or with orchestra or string accompaniment. And I have had several bar dates performing jazz standards, some of my own compositions, and free jazz improvisations.
What I like most is to improvise and compose in different styles, both classical and jazz.

I am a member of the avant-garde group of jazz musicians, the Kadima Collective.

Check out my blog.
