I was 7 years old when I discovered jazz by accidentally clicking on a link to an Earl Hines video clip on Encarta. Nothing has been the same ever since. In a little more than a year I accumulated a collection of several hundred CDs. And I have seen live (and have autographs from) Paquito d’Rivera, Kenny Garrett, Ray Barretto, Matthew Shipp, Johnny Griffin, Junior Mance, John Hicks, Phil Woods, Yusef Lateef, Joel Frahm... to name only a few.
